ATG Partners with Ethical Hackers to Strengthen Cybersecurity Posture

A Swedish gaming firm, ATG, is prioritizing cybersecurity through a collaboration with YesWeHack, a European platform for ethical hacking. They are challenging ethical hackers to examine their security measures and identify any weaknesses.

Serving a vast customer base of 1.4 million, ATG recognizes their attractiveness as a target for cybercriminals. Their primary concerns lie in safeguarding sensitive customer data and financial details, as well as ensuring the resilience of their gaming platforms against manipulation.

This partnership commenced with a private bug bounty program involving a select group of specialists. Currently, they are expanding it publicly, inviting the entire YesWeHack community of over 30,000 security researchers to participate.

ATG is keen to gain knowledge from this endeavor and will conduct a webinar on December 7th to share their perspectives on how other businesses can leverage the expertise of the ethical hacking community.

“Our goal is to merge our established heritage and principles with advanced technology to continuously enhance and develop the gaming experience,” states Erik Täfvander, Head of Cyber Security at ATG.

Our journey with YesWeHack has been exceptional from the start, and we’re dedicated to tackling any security flaws that could emerge on our system.”

Guillaume Vassault-Houlière, CEO and co-founder of YesWeHack, also noted that ATG is devoted to cultivating a secure and engaging gaming atmosphere and aspires to be at the forefront of ethical gaming within the sector.

“Their adoption of cutting-edge methods like vulnerability reward programs clearly illustrates they are progressive, aiming to gain and preserve the confidence of their users.”
