The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa located in Atlantic City is undergoing a $55 million renovation for its Water Club tower, which will be rebranded as The MGM Tower. This name change commemorates the Borgata’s two-decade milestone and aims to infuse the establishment with a refined, contemporary ambiance. The MGM Tower will showcase more than 700 redesigned accommodations and upscale suites.
Corey Sanders, COO of MGM Resorts International, stated, “The debut of The MGM Tower links Borgata with the vibrancy of our global destination resorts.” He further remarked, “We hold immense pride in Borgata and its dedicated team, and we are confident that this substantial investment will further cement the property’s standing as the industry leader.”
The refurbishment will encompass every facet of the hotel, from guest rooms and suites to communal areas such as the reception area and corridors. Bookings for The MGM Tower will commence in the beginning of April, with an anticipated completion date of May 29th.
Travis Lunn, the resort’s President & COO, highlighted their dedication to maintaining a leading position within the industry. “As we approach the resort’s 20th anniversary, our focus remains on enhancing the guest experience,” he commented. “We eagerly anticipate unveiling our new vision for Borgata in the upcoming months.”
The 32nd level, which formerly housed the Immersion Spa, will be converted into a novel concept, introducing an additional element of intrigue to the revitalized MGM Tower.
