Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) has brought on board a seasoned gaming industry leader, Nelson Park, as its new Senior Vice President of Strategic Development.
MGE declared that Park will be in charge of pinpointing, assessing, and carrying out business expansion opportunities and strategic new business ventures.
Reporting straight to Carol Anderson, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Park will commence and examine growth prospects and collaborate with all departments to finish implementation.
Park joins MGE from Driftwood Capital, a hotel investment firm, where he served as Managing Director for over three years.
Before that, Park served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Penn National Gaming and spent seven years as Senior Vice President of Hotel and Casino Development for Hard Rock International.
Park’s other roles include Vice President of Casino Development for Foxwoods Resort Casino and Director of Corporate Development for Argosy Gaming.

Nathan possesses over two and a half decades of experience in spearheading growth strategies across both gaming and non-gaming organizations. His deep understanding of the global gaming market, encompassing omni-channel operations, Native American gaming, hospitality, and hotels, will undoubtedly contribute to MGE’s ongoing prosperity.
This appointment follows the recent appointment of Raymond Lin as MGE’s Chief Legal Officer.
Lin will be entrusted with providing legal guidance to executive leadership on a wide array of business transactions, regulatory matters, international and domestic policy development decisions, and the formulation of business, operational, and legal strategies.
Lin will also oversee the legal, compliance, and risk management team, ensuring that all current, future, and strategic endeavors align with the best interests of MGE and the Mohegan Tribe.
