BCLC Tests Sports Betting Trial in Pubs and Eateries

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) is testing a fresh sports wagering idea in pubs, eateries, and gambling halls this weekend during Super Bowl LVI. Meanwhile, the Canadian provincial lottery operator has initiated the hunt for a new head and chief executive officer.

The trial will feature real-time odds, details about BCLC’s PlayNow.com sports betting platform and promotions, and responsible gambling guidance shown on digital displays at each trial location.

PlayNow.com patrons at participating spots will also get a $10 PlayNow.com free bet coupon, which they can access by scanning a QR code at the venue.

A total of 13 locations will take part in the trial, encompassing 12 pubs across the province and Chances Kelowna casino.
