Playson has lauded its workers in Ukraine for their dedication during the Russian incursion.
Playson maintains a development facility in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, and while the firm states some workers remain there to carry on “business-critical functions,” many have volunteered to protect the nation in diverse ways.
The company stated some employees have assumed roles combating misinformation and aiding Ukrainian refugees in relocating, providing sustenance and logistics. Others have volunteered to join the Ukrainian military forces.
Playson mentioned that as a consequence, they may encounter some interruptions in their daily operations, and some upcoming releases might be postponed from their initial timetable.
“A significant portion of our team is situated in Ukraine,” Playson stated. “On February 24, Russia initiated a war against Ukraine, and as a company, we strongly denounce the Russian military invasion of the nation. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine.
“During this extraordinary period, please exercise patience. We at Playson are collaborating as a global family to assist Ukraine and extend full support to our Ukrainian employees, their families, and loved ones, including aiding them in relocating to safer regions.”
Playson has declared their continued participation in the ICE exhibit, scheduled to take place in London from April 12 to 14, 2022.

Last week, the Ukrainian gambling industry initiated a campaign to gather £250,000 for those impacted by the conflict. Over £180,000 has been collected thus far, with the most substantial contribution of £25,000 originating from Betsson Group.
