Probability-Based Conformity Appoints New Heads of Revenue Examination and Technology Conformity

Probability-Based Conformity, a firm specializing in regulatory matters and technology for the gaming sector, has declared the appointment of Marybeth Butler as Head of Revenue Examination and Ali Ghanavati as Head of Technology Conformity.

Butler joins the firm after retiring from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE). She played a key role in setting up the state’s sports wagering regulatory structure in 2018. Butler began her career as an examiner with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission in 1987 and led the Revenue Certification team in 1995. She aided in developing audit strategies for the launch of online gaming in 2013.

Ghanavati most recently served as Head of Regulatory Technology at Fubo Gaming. In this position, he was responsible for the company’s jurisdictional product compliance strategy and assisted in launching operations in numerous states, including Iowa, Arizona, and New Jersey. Fubo ceased its sports betting operations in October.
